Meet NCAA Champion Mark Krikorian A Coaching & Leadership Journal Subscriber

Florida State head coach Mark Krikorian took over the Seminole women’s soccer program in 2005 and has proven to the nation that FSU soccer will be a national title contender on an annual basis. Through his first 11 seasons in Tallahassee, Krikorian has led FSU to a National Championship in 2014, eight College Cup appearances, three appearances in the national title game (2007, 2013 and 2014), three ACC regular season titles (2009, 2012 and 2014) and four league championships (2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015).

To further prove the model of consistency that Krikorian continues to provide, Florida State is the only school in the country that has finished each season ranked in the top 10 of the final NSCAA poll over the last 11 years. In fact, the Seminoles have been ranked in the top 25 of the NSCAA poll for 146 straight weeks – a streak spanning back to September 6, 2005. That streak hit an all-time high in 2012 when Florida State took over the top spot in the NSCAA top 25 poll on August 28.
